ABOUT US
The Atlanta Muslim Festival Collective was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to create meaningful, accessible spaces where the Muslim community can celebrate its culture, support its businesses, and connect with one another—and the greater Atlanta community—through food, art, and shared experiences.
At the heart of this movement is Hasnain Lakhani, a proud Atlanta native, entrepreneur, and the visionary behind the Collective. As a restaurant owner and community builder, Hasnain recognized a gap in representation when it came to large-scale, high-quality events that catered to Muslims while remaining open and inviting to all. His goal was never just to throw events—it was to build a platform that celebrates the beauty of the Muslim identity, breaks down barriers, and showcases the diversity and richness of our cultures in ways that resonate with both Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
What started as a passion project quickly grew into a full-fledged movement. Today, the Atlanta Muslim Festival Collective is powered by a network of local Muslim-owned restaurants, creatives, and professionals who are committed to amplifying their voices and investing back into their own neighborhoods.
We host vibrant festivals, pop-up markets, and cultural experiences throughout the year—all designed to highlight Muslim talent, support small businesses, and foster unity through the pillars of commerce, culture, and community.
Whether you’re here for the food, the fellowship, or the festivities—you’re welcome. This space was created for you.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
At the Atlanta Muslim Festival Collective, our impact goes beyond the events we host—we’re building a movement rooted in purpose, representation, and community empowerment.
By curating intentional spaces that spotlight Muslim-owned businesses, creatives, and entrepreneurs, we’re helping to generate real economic growth within our community. Our festivals are more than just celebrations—they’re opportunities for small businesses to thrive, for families to connect, and for stories to be shared in spaces where they’re seen and valued.
We’re also deeply committed to inclusion. Our events are designed to welcome people of all backgrounds—Muslim and non-Muslim alike—because we believe that through exposure, education, and shared experiences, we can foster greater understanding and unity.
Every ticket purchased, every vendor supported, and every attendee who walks through our gates plays a role in something much bigger: creating lasting, positive change across Atlanta and beyond.
Together, we’re not just hosting festivals—we’re making a difference.
